
Her song "Cowgirl On a Carousel" encompasses the musical journey singer-songwriter Dana Romanello has been on for as long as she can remember. It was no question that music was going to play a huge part in Dana’s life, but she had no idea what a crazy ride it was going to be.

biography

Dana Romanello is currently the Director of Museum Sales for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. While earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and a Minor in Music from Marshall University, she completed an internship at Universal Music Group, which led to making Nashville her permanent home. After a stint at Skaggs Family Records, Dana had a lengthy career in syndicated radio where she played a role in re-branding American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks, hosted a web series, and successfully helped develop and launch CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan. In 2014, a career in the student travel industry was a welcomed milestone and she is thankful for the daily inspiration stemming from the museum.As an entertainer, Dana began singing with her family, The Poverty String Band at an early age and still performs with them regularly. She has shared the stage with Louise Mandrell (background vocalist/dancer), she is a former NFL Cheerleader, has appeared on the ABC/CMT show Nashville, the CMT Awards (dancer), and has opened shows and appeared in music videos for legendary artists. She has made numerous appearances for the Home of the Grand Ole Opry-650am WSM, the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree, Music City Roots, Bluegrass Underground, and the International Bluegrass Music Association’s songwriter showcase. She has released one full album, and her EP, Cowgirl on a Carousel is available on all streaming platforms.

Her first love, Dana has been dancing since she was three years old. She has performed professionally for more than twenty years, and would love to bring her expertise to your event through choreography, blocking and movement, or even line dance lessons!
